This is the first watch to use both ceramic and tungsten in the same bezel setting.
Ceramics and tungsten have Mohs hardness of 8 and 9 respectively, making them incredibly durable, twice as durable as steel (Mohs hardness 4), and virtually scratch-resistant.
In addition to the hour, minute, and second hands, it also has a GMT hand.
The scale and hands are equipped with Swiss Super Lumi-Nova luminous material.
The final assembly of the Nereide GMT Ceratung™ (i.e., the assembly of the case, movement, dial, and hands) is carried out in Venezianico’s laboratory in Italy.
