Most people are probably familiar with the Venezianico Ultrablack. The new Nereide Ultrablack 42mm automatic watch features a 42mm satin-brushed case with double bevels at the top and bottom of the center and a unidirectional rotating stainless steel bezel. It also incorporates Swiss Super LumiNova BGW9 luminescent material, appearing white in daylight and emitting a blue-green glow in low light. The strap has been replaced with a durable black elastic nylon material.

The Ultrablack series design concept originates from the dark universe, creating a completely light-free space on the dial. The brand uses Musou Black™ black pigment to create the dial. This pigment employs a unique technology that absorbs 99.4% of light, making the dial's black even deeper than usual. Because of its light-absorbing properties, there are no reflections typically seen on dials in sunlight. The ultrablack dial features a minimalist design.
Only the silver brand cross logo and silver hands create a strong contrast in the black and silver two-tone design. The case back is engraved with an astronaut motif, echoing the dark outer space theme.
