This Zeno-Watch Basel Vintage NOS Chrono 1960 is a highly captivating "time capsule" watch. NOS stands for "New Old Stock," meaning the movement was produced in the 1960s-70s and then sealed and stored in Swiss cellar-like warehouses for decades until recently, when Zeno re-serviced, inspected, and assembled it. Buyers are acquiring a brand new "antique heart," which is extremely rare in the market.
The lugs feature a straight lug design that pays homage to early 20th-century trench watch styles. The lines are clean, slender, and form a striking geometric contrast with the rounded case, giving the watch a strong instrumental feel.
