Venezianico has just released its first watch of 2024, paying homage to the history and culture of Venice and named it Redentore Historia Temporis.
Inspired by an old 17th-century coin, Osella
Commissioned by the Doge of Venice, Marcantonio Giustinian, the brand digitized the timepiece and remade the molds to cast the brass dial using coin-minting techniques. The dial was then aged with mineral oil to mimic the shape of ancient coins, giving it a vintage yet elegant feel. The dial features iconic elements such as St. Mark's Square, the angel of Venice, and the traditional Galleon. The strap is made of restored antique leather with irregular, unique textures, reflecting the watch's historical DNA.
