TACS Architecture Cement Dial Open-Heart Automatic Watch Rasberry TS2301B
TACS, a Japanese watch brand renowned for its lens-inspired watches, this time draws inspiration from architecture, paying homage to a representative work of Japan's Metabolism movement in architecture. Referencing Tokyo's Nakagin Capsule Tower, it uses a very rare cement/concrete dial to reflect its architectural inspiration.
The dial features two cut-out windows, an open-heart at 7 o'clock allowing a view of the balance wheel, and a clutch wheel at 3 o'clock. When adjusting the time, you can see the movement's mechanism in action. The watch is patented and uses a Miyota automatic movement, entirely made in Japan. It comes in a distinctive cylindrical box.
